We use GOTS-certified organic (CU863637) cotton to stitch the cover and inner liner, and we generously stuff the pillow with vegan buckwheat hulls that deliver firm, body-contouring support. We fill our Avocado Meditation Yoga Bolster with vegan buckwheat hulls that create a firm but comfortable base that adjusts to your body’s curves and provides support for low lunge, knee twist, or heart-opening poses that can create tension in the spine and joints. We cover the fill with an organic cotton inner liner, making them easy to remove and refill, so you can always keep your pillow fresh.

We craft our Organic Meditation Yoga Bolster in our GOTS-certified factory. GOTS validates that we provide our factory team with fair wages and safe working conditions. GOTS also prohibits the use of toxic chemicals commonly used in textile processing that can cause cancer, birth defects, and other serious illnesses.

The zippered outer cover of your bolster can be easily removed and is machine-washable. Simply toss the cover in the wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, and hang to dry in a sunny, breezy spot. Just a reminder, we don’t recommend using bleach.
For a luxurious and premium finish, we use GOTS-certified organic cotton in a soft, natural color. We do not use polyester fiber. Responsibly and ethically sourced from India, this durable textile provides an ideal exterior to our Yoga Bolster Pillow. Our organic cotton has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certification (19.HIN.68466, Hohenstein HTTI), to screen for harmful substances as a result of processing, to include banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes. Even the green thread used in the stitching and logo embroidery is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified (94.0.6007, Hohenstein HTTI). Reinforced edge seams are double-stitched and four heavy-duty upholstered handles complete the package.
We use all-natural buckwheat hulls to fill our Avocado Yoga Bolster Pillow. The hulls are small and sturdy and won’t break down or crack, even after years of repeated use. We source our buckwheat from North Dakota.

As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. We also recognize our offsets and reductions aren't enough. Solving climate change will require systemic solutions. That's why, through our partnerships with Ceres and the American Sustainable Business Network, we also advocate for state and federal policies that support equitable solutions to the climate crisis.
We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill — we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.
